OLPF安裝在陣列式光電成像器件(如CCD、CMOS)前面，以消除高于光電成像器采樣空間頻率的物 光束成份對成像的干擾。由于CCD、CMOS光感應元件是采用非連續性取像方式，所以有拍攝細紋時 會產生不必要的雜訊，光學低通濾波晶片即是提供消除此雜訊的功能。因細紋的方向不同需要用對 應角度的低通濾波晶片加以消除，又因不同的型號CCD、CMOS光感應元件在規格上有些差異，為針 對不同型號及同時兼顧不同方向的低通效果，所以需用各種不同切割角度（如45度、0度、90度）、 片數、厚度和IR CUT組合成低通濾波晶片設計，才能去除拍攝所帶來的雜訊。在使用CCD、CMOS光感 應元件拍攝彩色景物時，因CCD、CMOS對顏色的反應與人眼不同，所以必須將光感應元件所能偵測的 而人眼無法偵測的紅外線部份除去，同時調整可見光范圍內對顏色的反應，使影像呈現的色彩符合 人眼的感覺，所以在低通濾波晶片表面鍍上IR（AR） CUT（干涉式）或配玻璃（吸收式）使用。 技術指標 材料： 光學水晶 角度： 可根據OLPF設計要求制作 尺寸： 1/3、1/4等（外形可根據客戶要求制作） 厚度： 單片（1.08、1.22、1.63） 雙層（1.83、1.97、2.78） 三層（2.58、3.03、3.43） 鍍膜： AR 、IR、夜視IR
