數控電火花成形加工機床的工具電極之安裝精度直接影響到加工的形狀精度和位置精度，所以其安裝至關重要。一般電極都要求和 XY 平面（也就是水平面）垂直，且在 C 軸方向也要符合要求，否則就可能導致加工出來的形狀不符合要求，或出現位置偏差。一般都要通過杠桿百分表來對電極的 XY 方向找正，同時還要對它的 C 方向找正。
